Updates/info for synecdochic's BPAL decanting

Aside from two people who wanted me to hold their Ligeia/Anniversaries for Yules, and one person whose add-ons collection is big enough to require special handling, everything will be in the mail this morning! (Monday, that is.) If you don't fall into either of those categories and you didn't get a shipping notice, let me know and I'll see what's up.

I'm giving myself two days off and then going back to tally up who owes me postage and who I owe refunds to. :)

a) The Anniversary package that I got the shipping notice for last week was finally delivered to the post office last night for mailing, so it should arrive Thursday.

b) I got the shipping notice for Ligeia last night, although it's not been scanned into the system yet. (Unsuprisingly; I got the notice at midnight Lab time.) If it goes out for morning pickup today, it should get here Friday. If it goes out for evening pickup today, it should get here Saturday.

With those times, I should be able to get Ligeia + Anniversary out for pickup on Monday next. Good news: the Lab has extended the Ligeia and Weenie releases, although they didn't specify until when.

Regulars: unless you specify otherwise, or have already specified otherwise, I will send out Ligeia + Anniversary together and then ship Yules when they arrive. I'm keeping track of how much you've paid me in shipping so far and will refund any overages once everything gets shipped.

(After I re-print two sheets of the Ligeia labels, sigh. Turns out it's difficult to notice if you've forgotten to swap the label art on the label sheet if every label looks identical except for the scent names! ...it's always something.)

I remembered that I would be able to order some more Ligeia bottles along with the Anniversaries, so between someone wanting to expand their Ligeia order and the bottles that didn't fill, there are some extra spaces to sign up for in:

An unwholesome smoky musk, dark and sweet, laced with Virginia tobacco, honeyed black currant, and red patchouli.

SOME STRANGENESS IN THE PROPORTION
Rich vanilla sandalwood elegantly distorted by oudh, labdanum, scarlet saffron, and pink pepper.

THE TUMULTUOUS VULTURES OF STERN PASSION
Sanguine red musk, red benzoin, wild plum, vetiver tar, and Indonesian patchouli beneath a still pool of sheer white musk and vanilla-gilded lily.

VERDANT DECAY
A claustrophobic thicket of yew, cypress, and drooping oak grown wild with dense mounds of bittersweet nightshade, gleaming white foxglove, creeping black ivy, clusters of marshy false morel and fly agaric, and a smear of crushed, overripe baneberries.


As of now, the Ligeia update is scheduled to come down on 8 December. I don't know if they'll extend it or not. (They extended the Liliths, after saying they wouldn't, but I don't know if they'll extend another update.) I placed our Ligeia order on 11/9, and from forum reports, they're shipping orders placed around 10/16-10/20 right now (with one outlying 11/15) -- so, two and a half to three weeks' worth of orders left to go before they hit us. (And even if they did ship us early next week, we're hosting Thanksgiving, so I'm going to have a few days where I wouldn't be able to decant.)

Based on all that: if you're international (with the corresponding longer shipping times) or if you think you might want more of one of the above scents, I recommend that you pick up the extra decant! Please comment on the signup post.

Ligeia has just gone live! It was not the update I was expecting tonight, but it's an update. :)

Since this went up at the same time as the Lunacy, I'll also decant the Lunacy this month. Because Lunacies are up on the site for a shorter amount of time (although it's been much longer lately), I will place the order Saturday evening!

This circle will operate under standard policies, 6 decants per bottle, with the following variables:

COST: $4 per decant, half bottles $11.50, full bottles $23.
SHIPPING: $3 US shipping, actual cost + $1 for international [first class padded envelope]. Inquire about upgrades for priority shipping.
MINIMUM TO ORDER A BOTTLE: 2 signups for the bottle

Please note that I will be out of the country from 8 January - 24 January -- I don't expect this circle to take anywhere near that long, but I'll be including this notice on all circles between now and then, just in case.
