Oh God I'm done

On the right are the ones Sarah labelled before she had to go sleep. On the left are the ones that still need labels. I got them all done! By the end I had to push the vials closed with the end of a sharpie because I'd shredded both thumbs, but I got them all done.

Today: Sarah will label the rest when she wakes up, then we put decants in bags. I might get to ship a few of them for Monday, but I'm not going to promise anything, since they have to be wrapped and there are a lot of add-ons and extras to wrangle. Tuesday should be possible, though.

Also: I've just bought our third flat of 2030 vials, because this circle has nearly cleared me out again. AGAIN.

So. Many. Vials.

(Also thank you - after sitting in Sydney airport for ALMOST THREE WEEKS, my last lot arrived with the decanting supplies. You're a star - no breakages anywhere :D)

Ugh, it's not just me that's been having issues with the Sydney customs? I swear, some things get let through like lightning, and others I have to chase up through that silly AusPost ~user interface~ they keep pushing now because they just. sit. there.

But I agree -- fab shipping, fab packaging!

Definitely not just you! I'm about 10km from the airport and this one took three times longer to reach me than it did to get here from MD in the first place. (There's an interface? I didn't know this!) [personal profile] shopfront and I live in the same suburb, literally across the road from each other, and hers got here about a week and a half earlier. :/// AusPost is the worst.

Now I'm wondering if it'd be possible to jigger up some kind of... vial-closing device, like a handle with a hole to hold the lid. Seems like it'd be less precarious than a sharpie. I don't know enough about ergonomics to know what shape the handle would want to be to make it less repetitive-stress-y than just closing them with one's hands, though.
