If anyone's looking for a Yule decant circle, vetchvesper is doing one on the forum, and needs to complete more successful circles so she can have more bottles in future circles (don't get me started on the forum bullshit rules again, heh). I haven't been in any of her circles, but she's told me that she's been inspired by mine, so hopefully they will feel familiar. :)

Thanks to the heroic assistance of my lovely wife and the last of what little energy I have after Thanksgiving, the Lilith/Weenies have been shipped and are out for pickup with tomorrow's mail!

I did not (unsurprisingly, seeing how long it took me to get these decanted) get the energy to go through the leftovers and update the leftovers sale post, but I will hope to do so after our trip in December. At that point I'll also decide if I'm going to keep decanting or not -- as should surprise nobody who's been paying attention, I'm leaning towards 'not' (the burnout, it is real), but more time off may change my mind. :)

I've been in a ton of pain this week and have had to save a lot of my not-in-pain moments for Real Life shit, but I have gotten the actual decanting part done and about 90% of the labelling. I'm hoping to get the picking, packing, wrapping, and shipping done by Wednesday but it might have to slip until Friday, since we're hosting Thanksgiving!

Everything's here (i think, I haven't finished inventory yet) and I'll be decanting over the next few days. I'm having an even worse week than usual, so I can't promise any particular time, but I'm going to try to get them out as soon as I can!

I got the shipping notice for one of our orders, but not the other! (I ordered in two parts.) The Liliths from the Trading Post got here this week, too. I'll hold off on decanting until everything gets here, and I'll let you know when that is.

It would be super helpful if someone could do the labels for me! (Also, there are a few of you waiting on adjusted invoices, sorry, this year is shit, I'll get them as soon as I have a minute.)

Orders have all been placed, invoices all adjusted for stuff that wasn't getting ordered, and if I told you to hold off on paying your invoice, you can now disregard that and pay it whenever you get a chance!

Six goddamn hours later...

I decided to stick with 2/6 signups instead of 3/6 for Weenies, since it took me so long to deal with things and I didn't want you to have to deal with the hassle, but we still had a few solo signups. I have contacted everybody who wanted one of the following to see if you want to double up or drop:

I still need to check through the Liliths and adjust some of the signups there/pro-rate some full/half bottles for people, but I can't sit up anymore right now, so I'm going to go lie on a heating pad and whimper instead.

If I commented at you about double up or drop, I'll wait to hear back from you until tomorrow, and then place the order assuming it's a 'drop'!

So things got unexpectedly busy last week (I forgot we were taking the train to Chicago to visit Sarah's sister, and we didn't have internet on the train, and then access was spotty at her sister's house and we were wrangling the four and one year old, and then the mobile germ factories got me sick, and blah blah I even bore myself) but I am home and upright now and working on the invoices & counts/ordering for Liliths and Weenies. I don't want to say I'll be able to get it done today for sure, but I'm actively working on it!

(My next goal once I get this all wrangled is going to be to go through all my leftovers and update the leftovers post so if people want them, they can order for shipping with Weenies/Lils, but lord knows when that will be.)

This may affect half bottle orders, since the most common problem I've been having lately is "have to buy another whole bottle because otherwise the half bottle would be slightly short"; if that happens, I'll offer you the chance to take "whatever would otherwise be left in the bottle", with corresponding discount based on how much the bottle will be shy of a true half bottle.

I got the last of the prep work done for the Unicorns circle today, and was going to do the actual decanting, but sitting in a chair for more than 20 minutes fucks my spine up this week. (No, it never stops.) With luck I should be able to do it tomorrow for shipping Tuesday or Wednesday, and then I'll get the Lilith order in and the invoices sent. The unicorns have arrived but I haven't gotten to decanting yet, and I need to make labels still. (You might get plain labels this time.) If someone has a second to assemble the sign up list for Liliths I can at least order them. Otherwise I'll get it when I have time and internet, which Lord knows when that will be. Sorry, folks, things are kind of shit.

-- Got notice our Unicorns shipped today, so either BPAL is being speedy lately or they bumped me in the queue because I was grumpy at them about how long it took for them to fix the shipping problem. So, I'm not going to combo Unicorns + Liliths after all, especially since the Weenies will be coming soon.

-- I'll do the lists and send invoices for Liliths tomorrow -- there's a lot of stuff and I have to clean up my PayPal saved item inventory first (they only let you have so many items saved), which is a pain in the ass and I'm procrastinating.

-- Advance notice: depending on timing, I almost certainly won't be decanting this year's Yules. We're running away from home for three weeks around Christmas this year, and last year the Yules didn't actually ship to me until just before Christmas. If people want, I can run a circle when we get back, but it's probably easiest to skip them.

I will do Weenies, and Anniversaries if they drop by early November, with the understanding that if the Lab gets backed up and the order doesn't get to me by December 15, it won't ship until after January 8 or so. (I'll remind you when we get there.)

The Lab finally got back to me about the problem I was having with the website claiming there were no shipping methods, and it's been fixed, so the Unicorns order was placed this morning.

I'll do the Liliths (perfumes only), but I'm going to wait until the Lab's go up too before I take orders so I can put them all together on one invoice, unless it's more than a few days.

I have progressed to the point where I could sit up long enough to wrangle the lists for the Unicorns, so y'all should have invoices now. I'm waiting on one person to get back to me about a discrepancy in the signup (that will affect how many bottles I order of the thing), but will place the order as soon as we work that out!

Ack, I missed the first half of the Unicorns (I've been lax about checking the Lab's site and they cannot seem to make their "notify me of updates" mailing list send mail to me, plus my email was broken for two days and then DW's email was broken for a day and people's comments about it here in the community came in then), and there is apparently now a part 2. I have the ick right now but will come back tonight and put up a circle for it.

Do people still need the first half of the unicorns? I can do both.

As you may have guessed from the "your thing shipped!" emails from PayPal just now, Sarah went out on her lunch break and got a new black ink cartridge. :) The packages will go out with tomorrow morning's mail pickup.

Naomi, the grey tabby half of our new cat duo, was very intrigued by the printer. She stood on the cat tree and kept watch the whole time. Thankfully, she is not as helpy as Ginny is.

Got everything packed. Started weighing things to print labels. Got printer-out-of-ink message. Went to replace printer cartridge. Realized that dumbass me forgot to reorder black ink cartridges when I put the last one in the printer (I buy 2-3 ahead to avoid precisely this situation). Realized the printer is set up so you can't cheat and put a blue or magenta cartridge in the black ink spot.

I don't think I can feasably create the labels all at once and then get Sarah to print them at work or use our tenant's printer, because that would fuck up my process like whoa and would mean I'd have to figure out how to use the peel and stick labels with an unfamiliar printer, but I've ordered the replacement cartridges and they should be here Thursday. (Hooray Amazon Prime.) Which means pickup Friday, because the Amazon guy gets here after the mail pickup.

Sorry, folks, this one's entirely on me being a dumbass.
